For the first time in Asia, world famous visiting artist Theos M.B.Sijrier will be painting a 6 x 2 m canvass to the tunes of live music of the Moko Blues Band. The painting will then be divided into smaller pieces which will be signed and sold on the night. The proceeds from the sales will go towards the disabled children’s unit which is being built at the Sunrise school in Kerobokan.
This fund raising event will be held on January19th at Mannekepis- live blues and jazz bistro in Seminyak and starts at 9pm.
Like Theos ,Yannic van Meckeren owner of Mannekepis finds his inspiration for what he creates in jazz and blues.
It is here on the stage in Mannekepis where they first met and found common ground in their passion for live music and art and to use their skills and talents to give back to the community.
