Sarah first passion and her first love and interaction with music was expressed through dance studying since she was 3 and continuing into a blossoming career through highschool into her adulthood. Sarah always sang aswell with her father who introduced song & played guitar throughout her life and from childhood serenade her on her bedside.
One of Sarah’s most enjoyable Feature Film dance experiences was working on the film “Honey” with Jessica Alba. Sarah featured & danced in many music videos, has been seen on many TV series in Canada as CBC, CTV, DISNEY, MUCH MUSIC aswell as many other networks Internationally across Asia and the states now based in Hollywood, CA.
Sarah has played all over La’s top live venues and clubs surrounding California as a feature Songstress successfully sharing her soul. From the Beverly Hills hotel, Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel, The Cresent Hotel Beverly Hills to Santa Monica’s famous Harvelles, Singapores Harry’s International, The Hilton Hotel, The Chedi in Thailand, Carcosa in KL, The Legian in Bali, she has graced many International stages of prestige including the Shook Starhill Gallery stage in Jw Marriot KL where she was scouted by Tansri Francais Yeoh YTl Ceo founder to open the newest jazz, blues club in Malaysia, who also owns the Ritz Carlton among many of there successful International properties and resorts.
Miss Daye has graced International Commercials performing and choreographing for greats like Julie Dash & Clarence Ford for GMC, Motts Clamato and The Great Jet Jackson-Disney series with many other live productions under her belt.
She has extensive experience in Musical Theatre Productions & studied at the top Private Musical Theatre College in Canada “Randolph School of the Performing Arts”. One of Sarah’s first most memorable experiences and her biggest inspirations was working on her first off Broadway musical “Rainboworld”, a great opportunity she gained auditioning for the famous jazz blues pioneer/writer Salome Bey whom directed, wrote and nurtured her skills giving Sarah her first professional opportunity as a triple threat talent. A mentor who taught and inspired her greatly.
Sarah danced for years with Canadas top Hiphop dance company alongside International Choreographer to the stars Luther Brown Ceo/founder of “Dodat” Dance Agency who’s worked with stars like Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Brandy, Missy Eliott, Puff Daddy and Chris Brown to name a few.. And to this day has his support too.
Sarah has gained experience performing on a numerous professional platforms Internationally over years, a seasoned pro showcasing with many stars on stages like the very popular “R&B Live Hollywood” working with Brian Mcknights musical director of 10yrs Prescott Ellis accompanied by the best of the best in the business based out of LA with many stars sharing the stage. Sarah Shared the stage & performed amongst Stars like Bobby Brown, Queen Latifah, Robin Thick, Ray J, Tina Marie, opened for Jill Scott and Mos Def in Canada at the Urban Music festival and many more..
Having toured all over Sth East Asia Independantly 4 yrs exploring 4 countries; Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia; Sarah finally decided to plant her feet firmly in Beverly Hills & Hollywood Califorinia to work on finishing her album, focus on her career which is in the midst of big movements.
Daye specializes in producing her own shows, musically directing and choreographing aswell for years on the road and is now assisting to the king of Action Painting; “Theos”. A famous painter based out of NYC & Germany who most recently performing in Bali with Sarah for a major Charity. Now apart of his live International Showcase, Sarah assists and features as a special guest Solo Artist with his fabulous jazz, blues band Internationally.
