People who are going to Bali in the beginning of August will find their visit coincides with the launch of the 'Sanur Village Festival'. The popular festival will be held for the 5th consecutive time between August 4th-8th 2010.
It will be split over two different venues - Inna Grand Bali Beach and Segara Beach. The organisers have this year managed to pack the bill with a whole host of fun activities for visitors to watch and take part in.
Music and culture are set to play an important part in this year's revelry, with a jazz festival and an art exhibition planned for those who can drag themselves away from Bali's warm coastal waters.
Sports-mad festival-goers will also find they are well catered for, as football, basketball and rugby are all on the agenda, as well as the Sanur Open Golf Tournament.
Add a photography competition, a kite display and a fun bike tour around the village and it becomes clear that there should be something for everyone at the event.
Ida Bagus Sidharta Putra, chairman of the festival, said the committee members are dedicated to making it "bigger and better every year".
